Italian Inspired Wedding Reception at Monastery Event Center

Must love greenery!

A late summer wedding at Mount Adam's Monastery Event Center that brought the rustic beauty and charm of the Tuscan countryside to Cincinnati. The wedding reception was held in what was formerly a church nave. Florals, linens and six living trees transformed the space into an Italian style courtyard. The bride and bridesmaids carried bouquets of fresh greenery with thick layered pink and yellow roses. Florals in bright white, lemon yellow, vineyard green and cypress enhanced the old world charm of the Monastery Event Center.

Mediterranean inspired wedding

Inspired by the Mediterranean the couple wanted to create a wedding reception where guests felt they were spending the evening in an outdoor courtyard. We focused on a variety of greenery with accents of roses for the floral design. Elegant green and white centerpieces dressed each table with the wedding party sitting at a long table with a focal spray of roses, olive foliage, silvery dusty miller and eucalyptus. Grapes and Queen Anne's lace added texture and a sense of foraged countryside plants to the atmosphere.
